Guitarist Scott Whitney to be Featured Artist on KUNC-FM

Station will play cuts from Whitney's latest CD, "Guitjazzathon",
provide recording and background information to listeners

LOS GATOS, Calif., JULY 22, 2003 -- Continuing to demonstrate momentum within the jazz radio community, KUNC-FM Music Director Kyle Dyas has announced that beginning Monday, July 21, 2003, and continuing to Friday, July 25th, the Colorado Public Radio station will feature guitarist Scott Whitney's Guitjazzathon CD during KUNC's Diverse Music daily show.

Along with featuring cuts from Whitney's new CD, on-air personalities will provide behind-the-scenes information about the Guitjazzathon recording process and insight into Whitney's music background and influences. Free copies of the Guitjazzathon CD will be given away during the week.
