Guitarist Scott Whitney to Perform at The Mansion at MGM Grand

LOS GATOS, Calif. / LAS VEGAS, Nev., APRIL 05, 2004 -- Guitarist Scott Whitney has been hired to perform on April 9th, 2004 at "The Mansion", the exclusive invitation-only property within the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

"The Mansion at MGM Grand is considered one of the most extraordinary properties in all of Las Vegas," says Whitney, "Being invited personally by the MGM Grand entertainment director to perform at this impressive property is a fantastic opportunity."

The Mansion at MGM Grand opened in May 1999 and showcases 29 private villas (each with its own indoor pool) ranging from 2,400 square feet to 12,000 square feet, a private casino, two spas, high-tech screening and conference rooms, and $1 million worth of area rugs. The Mansion also boasts an art collection ranging from Tang dynasty horse sculptures and 16th-century Portuguese tapestries to works by Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, Claes Oldenburg, Henri Matisse and Richard Serra. The Mansion is available to invited guests only.

Whitney will be performing for a private reception hosted by the MGM Grand.
